Clarity on this art project

I wasn't exactly sure when I started this venture where it was headed, not unusual in my life!
One thing was certain, taking the opportunity to paint subjects that I don't normally do as part of my known body of work.

First few were landscapes, which are fun for me because what I usually paint is very realistic and the landscapes I am doing are very not that. Well, the project has shaped up like this:

I will be doing a continuing series of simple landscapes, each will be signed, numbered and dated on the back.
You should see a progression with the work, now that It has come to me what the purpose of this project is, to continue to learn and grow as an artist one has to try new things, experiment. It's difficult sometimes for me to do that with my traditional subjects. There is no pressure here however, no one is expecting anything, most importantly, including me!

So I see the future works as being studies in color and brushwork.

Here are the newest two landscapes, both are 5x7. The one on the top is so far my favorite, and is the direction they will start going to from here. More color, moody.
Both paintings are sold.
