Artist Behind the Curtain, unique affordable original art for YOU
Who can afford original art? If you can afford eating out, even once in a while, you can afford original art.
They say you can tell a lot about a person by the color of the car they drive, or the shoes they wear, can you tell something about a person by what hangs on their walls? Only if it makes a difference to you personally.
Do you see as a difference between someone whose home has walls
with paper prints of nice looking work picked up at the drugstore, and someone with richly colored, one of a kind original oil paintings? If so, and you see uniqueness of vision and expression, perhaps some sophistication, which one is you?
If it would make you feel spoiled, special to own something completely unique, to be able to look at something that brings you joy, to gradually build a personally treasured collection like no other, to have unique conversation pieces, and to express your own uniqueness with the unique pieces you choose to own, find some affordable, original art and start there today.
I'm a gallery represented, listed, award winning, gallery represented artist. My Gallery work sells from $300 to $6,000, out of many peoples ranges, but comes with my resume behind it, one of the things that puts work in a higher price range. How can I make my work available to
more people, without jeopardizing the value of my gallery collectors?
You are familiar with writers using a "pen name"? Well, I've got this alter ego, "The Artist Behind The Curtain", and I'm selling small, fun, original paintings at unheard of prices, making
truly unique, original art available to most anyone. Join my mailing list to be alerted of
new works, all starting with an opening bid of only $1.
How can I afford to do this? My Gallery work already pays the bills, I routinely do a small, fun painting to warm up, which is too small for the gallery, so I can make this available at auction and let you set the price.
Check out my available items, save me as a favorite seller, and you will always be alerted each time I list an auction, I'm working on listing Daily Paintings, so it will be frequently, and a variety of subjects!
Someday when I write a book about my alter ego experiment, your work might become
a highly collectible piece, but don't buy for investment, buy because you love something!
Own something unique, find original art that you can afford and begin a collection,
you will be glad you did.

Own Original Art, Pig Painting, Cuteness featured on your desk/shelf
If you have purchased original art, you know how satisfying it is to own a one of a kind piece.
If you have never purchased original art, give it a try, and see if you get the same feeling of happiness every time you look at it as you got the first time, a smile, a chuckle, a warm feeling, whatever feeling you got when you first viewed the piece is what you get every time, only now you know you are the owner, there is only one, no one else can to buy it from any source, it is a good feeling and therefore a special gift to give as well!
At auction with an opening bid of $1. International shipping available worldwide for $2.50.
See or bid on this auction here.
I can tell you, this looks super cute on a small easel sitting on a shelf or desk, a little tiny original jewel.

Daily Painting, or painting a day, whichever way it works
The Artist Behind the Curtain is thinking seriously of doing a painting a day, so here is day two and painting two, we'll see how it goes!
I thought it would be fun to do something unexpected, and while painting this cow face it came
to me that it would be fun if she had human lips with red lipstick, so here she is!
The lips are meant to be somewhat subtle, not reach out and grab you. From a distance you might not really notice, but when your friends come over and see it, they will comment!
